​​​​​​​​We see first hand, how the construction industry has a variety of pressures from tight contracts to long hours, sometimes even time away from loved-ones. Managing budgets and delivering to programme, not to mention the added stresses of post pandemic life, especially with rising costs left, right and centre. Although we have seen improvements, unfortunately there still lies a “macho” culture which prevents many workers from seeking support and help when they may need it.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​If you aren’t “fine”, we are here. Not just today, not just tomorrow but every single day.

Today Kelly was invited by Rebecca Campbell to an event at The Assembly House hosted by Hopestead Flagship_Group called “Hope in Action” with the inspirational speaker Dr. Sam Collins 👏🏼
What a mind-blowing talk, with some quite scary facts which are quite thought provoking! It will take a 132 years to reach gender equality, so make a difference today.. 💭
A movement that resonates with Kelly; is “Pay it Forward”, Sam kindly gave out signed copies of her book at the end of today, as long as once you have read it – you pay it forward. So watch this space… 📖

To be in a room packed full of people all with the same belief, that it is important that women can see a viable career for themselves in the construction industry, is phenomenal. 👷🏻‍♀️
Many of the women Kelly met last night, are breaking those glass ceilings, stomping out those stereotypes and are role models for these women to look up to, all in different ways.
We all know Kelly is super passionate about Women in Construction, she is making a conscious effort to create a more diverse workforce and will go above and beyond to help anyone looking to pursue a career within construction.
It was an honour for Core Recruiter to have its name up there as a finalist of the Inclusive Company Award. ✨
